Just came back from a wonderful railroad presentation about the history of railroads in Dover, NJ from 1895- to present.....The DL&W electrics show "One Last Look" was one of the best presentations I have ever seen however it was very emotional for me as I got to ride the cars before they were retired in 1984.....Memories run deep.....

Many thanks goes to Bob Bahrs for his time and dedication that went into this show....!

I wish I could have caught up with Bob's showing of this program. Hopefully he will be presenting it again in the future. Bob has done a lot of superb photography and outstanding presentations over the years. It is also really nice that both of you took the time to post a comment on his program. Programs and presentations take a lot of dedication, time, and effort, and too often they are almost completely overlooked on these discussion groups. In fact there is very little coverage devoted to railroad history programs and presentations in general on the entire internet.

I attended this event and I liked the presentation on the electrics. I remember riding on the Lackawanna MU's just before they were retired.

I found out yesterday that Bob is having another one of these presentations at the Baker Theater in Dover on Tuesday September 19th.
