ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL, Illinois — As workers make repairs on the railroad that runs over the Government Bridge, some closures to traffic will be put in place.

The Iowa Interstate Railroad will close the bridge to vehicles, pedestrians, bicycles, boats, and trains, according to a statement from the Arsenal. The closure will begin Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 5 a.m. and will last until Thursday, September 15 at 5 a.m.
