NJT Railcams

Post by Idiot Railfan » Mon Mar 19, 2018 5:34 pm

Are there any public or subscription cameras where you can see NJT operations? I'm familiar with Virtual Railfan.com and a few sites like that, but they don't have local cams. I'm also including cameras that aren't necessarily for viewing NJT but happen to catch them in their coverage, like DOT cams and things like that.

Thanks!

NJT doesn't want public access to any cams it may have for fear of terrorists using them.

He does not mean NJT-owned surveillance cameras.
Railfans have set cameras up in various and sundry locations to watch trains in real-time. These are not located on railroad property.
To answer OP's question, there was a camera in Belmar on top of an apartment building but I don't believe it's there anymore.
