Former Metro GM Wiedefeld nominated to be Maryland Transportation Secretary

The former GM of Metro, Paul Wiedfeld, has been nominated to Maryland Transportation Secretary.
This means would get a seat on Metro's board.

I was a bit surprised at the nomination (I was under Wiederfeld's MTA when I was employed there). He went from Maryland Aviation Admin to MTA back to MAA then to WMATA and now... when is this guy going to retire for real? Almost like he's the Tom Brady of transportation.

Still, there's a lot of work he has to get back on.
