For those of you that love the PM/C&O/Chessie cross-lake ferries like I do, the PM41 barge - formerly "City of Midland 41" - is anchored off 35th street Chicago. It's still got very ship-like lines despite the fact it's a barge now. It hauls aggregates for construction projects, one of which it's on now. This ferry once carried 34 freight cars/trip across Lake Michigan in all four seasons, including thick ice.
Amtrak is proud to announce a new train to Florida that doesn't stink: The Floaterian. An all-star just like Babe Ruth.
