According to the Seth Bramson book "Speedway to Sunshine", 2000 was
formerly 406 which is a GP-40. Whether it has been rebuilt or not, I do
not know but I can tell you that FEC maintains its motive power to a high
degree.
Suggest you buy this book if you have any interest in the FEC, it is still in
print and the original printing ran dry very soon after release and it
commanded high prices before the second printing.
