I was traveling down 684 today and caught a "very quick" climpse, of what appeared to be a transformer on a sunken center flatcar. It was near some other equipiment by King Lumber in Goldens Bridge. I'm curious if this is something for Metro North or just a delivery job. And what power brought it there and so forth..... yada.... yada..... yada

Or as my friends from the Ghetto say, "whats up with that ????????"

I might be wrong but it seems to me that Housatonic Railroad still has the
right to run freight over that portion of the Harlem Line.

No Housatonic gave up all rights to Harlem, and CSX only has rights to North White plains but has no need to travel north of Mount vernon yard.
Besides HRRC has no engines with Cab/ATC .
