I refer to the 1036 as the 1073, few understand why, and just as few even know there isn't a 1073.

I don't see what's worthy of remembrance from that crash. No one was killed so there's nothing to memorialize. I think everyone involved would much prefer to forget an entirely preventable collision caused by a trainee engineer and a substandard training program.

I would have rather they reset the numbering on the -3Cs and put them in order without gaps. Unfortunately the first contract was only for 10 rebuilds so they couldn't commit to that up front.

1025 was on the Erie test train yesterday.


I find it interesting that 1025 is testing already because if we look at it in chronological order 1064 and 1051 should be ahead of it.

1029 & 1067 headed to Erie soon. Being brought to Middleboro for CSX tomorrow on an extra.
1063 is being picked up at Middleboro for Readville tomorrow too.
A friend out to Erie says no update other than the 010/011 are still on the interchange track at Erie and not brought into the plant yet.
