Erie E8A 833 has arrived in Port Jervis, along with other NY&GL equipment, and is on display at the turntable.

The Erie Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society is working in conjunction with the NY&GL to provide tours of the displayed equipment. We also has our reproduction China and other merchandise available for sale in support of our continuing restoration of Erie Lackawanna Diner 741.

The display times for Sunday are from 11 am to 4pm.

The 833 will be moved on the turntable at 12, 3 and 6.

Equipment Display:

Erie E8 833
NY&GL GP9 1268
NY&GL RS3 935
NY&GL coach Chestnut Hill
NY&GL business car Pride of the Delaware

Come out and visit us if you are close!

Some of the S Jersey Informal Railfan Committee members will be making a trip on the Port Jervis line Saturday 8/18. Is 833 still there?

She was still there this past Saturday, August 16th (off on a siding, not on the turntable). Looks as good in person as in the pics- great job.

Best of all, Erie E8 No.833 has the same type of 3 chime horn she was delivered with back in 1951.
