Anybody know if these lights actually were used at the end of a cable car line : they look almost like nautical half round jelly jar-type globes on a round fluted pedestal. With their base, they are a little over two feet tall. Color creme. Clear lens with horizontally etched stripes for light diffusion. Described as "early 1900's". Recently, a pair was offered for sale on the net - nobody bid, which is unusual. I've checked all my cable photos and I can't find the lights at any "end of line", either past or present. I wondered if anybody remembered these.
