I like it. Should've given it a good power washing to maybe get rid of some of old njt outlining.

Actually, that's the original outline/etching of the NJDOT red stripe that went with the navy blue window band when these cars were delivered in th early 1970's.

Is that the real thing or a Photoshop rendering?

I ask because it looks like if it was real, they went to a lot of trouble to paint around those flags and other stickers.

Question: Which locomotive with HEP will pull these ? FL9's in Maine, or
are they readying some of the others ? Any cab cars ?

It would be nice if the U-34CH pulled it wouldn't it be? Unfortunateley I have been told the engine is too heavy and needs too much work to run... How bout the Maine Eastern F40's??

I just had a thought. Is it possible, that after painting this car, they simply added new decals? A piece of masking tape, also easily applied to cover decals. Striped were masked off somehow, possibly, with tape. That's what every other place does, that paints equipment.........................
