Well, I was wondering if there are any freights using the ac rail line, because when riding from Cherry Hill To Philly, there are Tracks protruding from the main track before I reach Pennsylvania. If it isn't frieght, what are those extra tracks used for?

Freight trains can use the NJT AC line between the Delair Bridge and the Pemberton Branch.

Closer to Atlantic City, Southern Railroad of NJ freight trains use the NJT AC line between Winslow Junction and Pleasantville.

I photographed the Ringling Brothers circus train being hauled to Pleasantville by SRNJ on NJT (former PRR) at Winslow, after Conrail had delivered it to SRNJ at Winslow on the Conrail track (former Reading).

Wait. What stations are between Delair Bridge abnd Pemberton Branch? Do freights pass by Cherry Hill?

There are no stations between the Delair Bridge and the Pemberton Branch.

Freight trains do not go past the Cherry Hill station.

There is a passing siding between the Cherry Hill station and Utica Ave (Westmont) where northbound and southbound trains pass each other. The passing siding also continues past the Cherry Hill station, but it's rarely used.

Bob, the way that's laid out is: there are three interlockings. NORTH RACE, RACE, and SOUTH RACE. The Cherry Hill station is located on the controlled siding between NORTH RACE and RACE.

Rarely is the single track (main) used there.
