"DL&W Boonton Combine Plow NY 1962"

No location on the slide but it was with some M&U slides. Any ideas where or what railroad? Thanks.

That is Empire State Railway Museum equipment in Middletown, NY. I rode the combine back it the late 60's. The plow isn't attached to the combine, it's for the M&U 44 tonners. They had a wood Drover's caboose also.

Darn, looks like a good "what the heck is that" modelling project...

NYO&W caboose 8301, now privately-owned and in a back yard in Deep River, Conn. Middle car is a DL&W "Boonton" coach, not upgraded by DL&W with metal window sash and new smooth roof (like most of the surviving cars in service today), but has original wood window sash and standing seam steel roof. This car was later lettered "Middletown & Orange", moved to Essex in early 70s, and scrapped at Essex in early 1980s (it was considered too far gone). Red combine is 1915 C&NW 7409, a steel car with a wood interior, later in service on Valley RR as 409, from 1971 until 1992. Sold to Mid-Continent Railway Museum and beautifully restored by them to original C&NW yellow and green colors 9and number).
