The transit agency said it has taken disciplinary action against 28 people since the incident occurred, representing “nearly half of the track inspection department,” General Manager Paul J. Wiedefeld said. The department consists of about 60 people.
The disciplinary action was not limited to rank-and-file workers. At least three supervisors were fired or are in the process of being terminated, and two more are facing repercussions from the incident. Two rail superintendents were also demoted.
Jeter said that she has spoken to two of the track workers who were terminated.
“They are confused,” she said, “because they don’t know what they’ve done wrong.”

Disappointing that no effort went in to preserving all those URLs ranked in search engines, embedded in other community resources, and stored in bookmarks.Mike Thanks for that I noticed a few other like you say in search engines. You would think they would have ensured that the URLs were preserved.
