At Dinaso Lumber, the foundation for the main building is being removed.Image
At Seventh Street, paint for the pedestrian lane has been added on both sides. Crossing is hooked up and working perfectly. The adjacent traffic light is wired in but not operating yet. Might be a while before activation. One section of the precast concrete panels is cracked on the end and the rubber gap filler is starting to shift.

They seem to be having issues with people walking between cars while working Woodhaven. Lots of radio chatter about it.

Is there such a thing as self preservation anymore?

Apparently C&D held an operation lifesaver event in Farmingdale today until about 6pm.

It's nice they are having it and all but why on a Tuesday? Most people are at work or in school. Wouldn't it make more sense to have it on a weekend so more people can attend and therefore learn about operation lifesaver????

It appears the event was specifically scheduled during school hours so the local school children could attend.

They might go pick up 1888 out of Farmingdale today. Came out of Jamesburg with 5 cars and 2005.

I noticed Beacon loads their cars with heavy steel which that must be why they are dealing with trains. Expensive to move that with trucks. Where do the loads go? CMC Steel?
