CTA 4000's at CSS Shops

Here's an auction on eBay for a slide of a South Shore Pullman car with a CTA 4000 in the background. I remember a few of these lingering at Shops through the mid-1980's. This is the first time I can recall a picture of such, though.

I have no interest in this auction as a buyer or seller.

The talented shop guys did do outsourced work, I think they even did some museum car work. Still shows the tween railroad sharing that goes on, like the recent UP train disaster, a host of other lines helped the South Shore fix the track in one day...wowsers.
