Looks like they have one excavator and maybe a flash butt welding truck further back, maybe this is the rail gang that will be doing from NMJ to MP-34?

They unloaded the equipment at Northern Maine Jct a few days ago, haven't heard anything since.

Corman was doing rail around CPF-113 at Waterville yesterday. It looked like they were finishing one rail and had to do the other side, which will probably be done today. My guess is they will head up to Fairfield to do rail on the bridge to Benton.

Another 40 cars of MoW/CWR came east on yesterday's M426.

I wonder if that is relay rail.
The equipment on the head end looks like the type they use to load relay rail, such as this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/pittsburg ... 0307791347
This is the type of equipment they normally use to unload rail:

A RJ Corman tie gang is working on the Stony Brook heading west toward Ayer. Here is a picture of them tying down on the #2 track at Westford today. They just finished buttoning everything up to CPF Westford for tonight's M426/427.

The CSX rail gang has redone rail somewhere around the Route 202 overpass in Hampden to about 2000 feet west of the crossing at Waterworks. I don't think there is any new CWR laid out from there to Orono. They also redid the main line switches in Bangor. They still have several crossings to replace in Bangor.

Corman working again today on #2 track Westford to Graniteville. For those of you with scanners they use AAR 084, 161.37 MHZ. That's the former B+M, PAR, now CSX MOW channel.

The CSX rail gang was at Fay in Old Town last night. It looks like they have all the islands of rail from there to Waterworks installed. The scrappers are right behind them in Orono picking up rail. RJ Corman had equipment at Old Town from the switch installation and GBI Right of Ways is building switch panels at Permatreat in Mattawamkeag.

They never dropped rail from NMJ to somewhere around Route 202 in Hampden. From Waterworks to Old Town the rail was only laid out in a few spots, mainly replacing rail over bridges as well as a few sections of stick rail Guilford never replaced.

RJ Corman moving along briskly on the Stony Brook. Picture of first of two tampers finishing up after tie gang and grapple truck picking up old ties.
