So, I've been trying to research Cresskill depot on the Northern Branch, but I've run into a noticeable problem. I know after service was canned on September 30/October 3, 1966 (depended on the service), the depot was still standing, and by October 8, it already had a new paint job. But the problem is, I have tried and tried to find the post-1966 history, and you can tell its been demolished, but I have no source for how.

If anyone knows, please fill me in.

The abandoned depot fell victim to a fire. I did find an article on the fire in the CHS school paper. I'll dig around for it.

The caption under the photo said, "TOWN EYESORE: Before being torn down, the Railroad Station was burned by vandals."

Mainetrain: Not surprised surprised it was burned down. There, for whatever reason, seems to be to a lack of records of this, however. Anyway, thank you so much for finding those, but it is humorous to see the numerous errors in it. :)

As for CarterB, I knew where it was, the fate was more what I was focused on.
