I spotted DRGW 3111 and a caboose down in the springs this weekend. Is the loco on a static display and what is the status of the caboose?

I haven't been in the Springs railyard for several months now. I know for several years the UP used a SP GP40 for yard work. It also had Rio Grande Caboose due to all the reverse moves. Got me curious, guess I need to make a trip.
