I was just wondering if I'm the only person out there seriously collecting WW2 US RR unit items. I have a huge collection of related items:Image
...and here's a Military RR Service Conductor Badge:

Nice looking stuff. I just have a few TM's. I saw a reference to printed schedules of military trains for the US Army Forces in Europe c. 1947 in an article by the German railroad writer Michael Meinhold. Ever turn up any similar items, or stuff on the US military trains to Berlin?

Actually, my collecting interest drops off at 1945. I have been offered some postwar German stuff, but have turned it down...

Hi, my name is Brett and I joined this site today. I own a number or WW2 Army and Navy locomotives and rolling stock, some of which serves me on my job with Amtrak. During my time in the military and civil service positions I spent some of my career working on and off military bases for the DOD. I am also a WW2 reenactor and we use this equipment at times. I look forward to hearing from you, Brett T.
