Does anyone know where GP7s #1523 and #1524 are located now? Last I knew the 1523 spent time on BR&W about 15 years ago. 1524 was at Boonton if I recall. Any updates are appreciated.

Last year during the annual Transportation Heritage Festival 1524 was open for cab tours. This year's festival at Boonton will take place on Sunday, September 21st. If all goes as planned there will be an addition of live music this year by two bands, the Red Oak Country Boys who feature county songs from the 50s and 60s, and Girl Jam, who play a mix of acoustic-oriented music of several genres.
