After looking through a recent post about B&M 3713 I was curious about the fate of CN3254 seeing that it seems to be in pretty rough shape (at least the tender is). The Steamtown NPS website says that it will repaiir 3713 as a replacement for 3254 as the mainline locomotive for the park. Afterward, they will restore 2317. The website does not mention plans to restore 3254. I was curious if anyone knows any information regarding the fate of CN 3254. Whether it's in good or bad shape and wether it has a chance of running again anytime in the next 30 years.
