In 2025, London is set to get its own answer to New York City’s High Line. The Camden Highline park, which received planning approval this January, will cleave quite closely to the template set by its New York namesake: a linear garden and walkway laid out along disused train tracks.
Running for 1.2 kilometers (roughly ¾ of a mile) along a path just north of Central London, the Camden Highline’s name also traces its direct descent from Manhattan’s famous linear park — both projects share the same chief architects: James Corner Field Operations.
