Calgary LRT - new paint scheme

On July 18th, Calgary Transit will unveil it's new paint scheme replacing the original triple stripe that's been around since the CTrain started running in May of '81. The first 3 LRV's decorated (2245, 2246, 2247) are the most recent arrivals from Siemens' Sacramento plant and were never used in revenue service yet. This new scheme will also be applied to all of the New Flyer buses that arrived in Calgary within the last year.

Being in an area with tons of transit, one doesn't get to appreciate what the neighbors in the north have to offer. I've always been a huge fan of Calgary Transit and that "CT" logo on the LRVs. I guess this new color scheme is pretty cool but boy, am I gonna miss that scheme if they eliminate it.
