Sounds like WMATA feels they are sitting on a time bomb and the clock is running.

Seems I was off by a few feet, instead of it being the jumpers at the turnout point for the A&C connector it was the feeders between track C2 and east end of the A&C connector.

Another note from Metro's NTSB action safety tracker - Jan. 2017 is when all power cable connectors will be fixed/replaced. http://www.wmata.com/about_metro/genera ... Report.pdf
