In 1978 when I gave up the Road Foreman's job at NWP, I took the engineer's job on WP-1, the local freight out of NWP. Fordham yard was still there at that time and we would go in the clear there for lunch from time to time. There was an Italian deli on Webster Ave that had fantastic veal parm heros. Most of the time, we would have lunch at Oak Point before heading up to BN to service the Put.
