I took some time today to tour while vacationing in NC.
Feel free to add any notes to this.

C&A had one locomotive in the weeds, on an apparently unused line radiating southeast by their office trailer ?Hamilton Blvd? It was GP38 3842 and its stacks are capped. Also found a cut of 8-10 cars on the main just south of this grade crossing. Found no trains or power. Do they still have the GP7s or more 38s?

Bay Coast RR: Found nothing going on at Little Creek. Engine house was closed up, no staff around. One MRS1 north of the enginehouse, and GP38 2014 (in ESHR paint) across fromt he enginehouse.

Suffolk, VA: Found a three unit NS local spotting one car at Madison Ave. NS westbound through town. CSX through town.

Where does the semi weed covered yet used line running south semi along Factory Street? There is a cut of loaded box and covered hoppers near the switch to the two track NS main. Never found the Comonwealth Rwy.

The commonwealth railway is down Wilroy road, if you take Hwy. 58 west get off on the wilroy road exit and when you get to the bottom of the ramp take a left. You can't miss the tracks, they will be on the right. Usually leave the power tied up in an industrial park on the right, with their offices across the street next to a lumber yard.
