Red, Brown, And purple lines are going to be rerouted to other tracks, to rebuild the tracks for the New Stations, at Fullerton, and Belmont, also at Willington, and Diversy.

By this link from the CTA web site, with the train service decreasing, they are increasing bus service in the area, to supplement people that normally uses the train. Purple line will run on the Outer loop, just as the brown line does now. They will have blue line service from Jefferson Park to UIC Halsted Stations for those people who may start using the blue line, and on.

I use the Blue Line daily in the morning and I've seen an increase in the number of riders since the start of the three track construction phase. Regularly, the train I get one is one of those that only run between UIC/Halsted and Jefferson Park.
