I know this has probably been asked before. But, what years did the Blue Comet operate? What were its station stops as well? Did it stop in Chatsworth or anywhere else in the pine barrens? Im just wondering.
Thanks.

and happy holidays :-D

The Blue Comet had a flag stop in Lakehurst and no additional stop until Hammonton.

IIRC, the Blue Comet ran until Sept 1941. 2 hr 47 mins. It did indeed run from Winslow to AC on the Atlantic City RR, predecessor of the PRSL lines. Not sure of the stops, but most likely, JC, Elizabethport, Red Bank, Lakewood, Lakehurst (the Zeppelins!), Winslow and AC.

About 1934 until discontinuance in 1941, because part of the Reading's Atlantic City RR was abandoned, the Blue Comet switched to the P-RSL's Camden & Atlantic RR between Winslow Jct. and Atlantic City.

February 21, 1929 to September 27, 1941 . Carter has the stations about right.
