This is bad news for CSX, as the bone valley OPS are VERY proffitable.

Look for big cuts in the tampa area in the future.

The last 5-10 years have been very bad for phosphate cuts around here.

I have been catching snipetts of Energy Sub Committee hearings on C-Span.It seems we will be driving Flex-Fuel vehicals with ethenol.This will be good for railroads and agribusiness.But too late for those in Bone Valley today.Estimates are that it would be 2020 before we could be on par with Brazil.I hope they don't rip out any track or sell the machinery.

Well, they have already begun dismantling some of the plants

I was out for the first time in a few months today and it was DEAD.

HUNDREDS (?THOUSANDS) of unused covered hoppers fill every siding, storage track and the yard tracks of several of these closed plants.

Some lines are now out of service, serving solely as storage tracks for unused and bad order hoppers

I could name specific lines but I would not be surprised to see some abandonements here shortly.
