Batavia Division

We put that in summer of 2009, I believe. Between 08 and 09, there were new signals at Walnut Street, the re-decked the bridge, the new switch and siding at the reload, new switch into the enginehouse, enginehouse concrete work, and the warehouse itself. It was a very busy time.

Batavia is done Monday, Thursday, Friday, and sometimes the other weekdays as well. FRR is done Tuesday-Friday.

Will the Batavia division see any business from the new yogurt plants being built in the Genesee Agri-park. I believe the spur that runs into the park was owned by GVT.

Will the new yogurt facilities being built in the Batavia Agri-park create any business for GVT? I think they own the spur running into the park.

There’s a small nicely fixed up little brick building next to the roundhouse in Batavia, between the roundhouse and the track. Does anyone know what the history of that structure is and what the DL&W currently uses it for?
