B&O "NAPPANEE" scrapped?

I'm trying to confirm a report that the former B&O lightweight sleeper lounge observation NAPPANEE has been scrapped. I'm told it hd been stored on the South Branch Valley RR in Romney WV, home of the Potomac Eagle trains, after being stored in Salem VA for some after after its retirement by LIRR.

This is the car the LIRR acquired from B&O in 1968, in trade for a LIRR RDC.

During my childhood had the opportunity to ride many miles in the Nappanee and her sister Wawasee on the Capitol Limited. Seeing her last pictured condition is heartbreaking. The grand lady deserved better.
