If there are any Santa Fe groups or organizations interested in preserving an SD26, now is the time to act. There are only two SD26s left in existence, and it has been reported that they are being stripped of parts.

Get on the phone with Pan Am Railways ASAP if you have any interest in preserving one.

The last two SD26s on earth have been whitelined. Scrapping won't be far behind. If anyone wants to save an SD26, this is your last chance.
