Last Sunday morning (March 13th) my wife and I happened to see a short presentation on The Weather Channel about the New Orleans streetcars. My wife is a Louisiana native, but grew up in western Louisiana and was not familiar with New Orleans. A little surfing yielded this site. I know this forum is for "Fallen Streetcar and Interurban Lines" but this didn't seem appropriate for "Commuter and Transit". So, for those of you who prefer "classic" trolleys and streetcars to "light rail" check out:
