In Apple's new release of OSX called Tiger, there is a feature called the Dashboard, which has these little applications called "Widgets." Widgets are little tools and time wasters. Everything from clocks and calendars to completely odd-ball stuff like showing where the sun is shining right now. Most of these Widgets rely on pulling data from the Internet for things like live traffic reports, tracking flights, etc.

Many private citizens are developing Widgets of their own... I know Metro-North has GCT departures on their web site...

I'm sure that some enterprising programmer could make a nifty Widget using this data? Imagine the nifty animation you could create- a representation of the old Big Board with all its flipping panels? I challenge thee!
