1834 drawing, PG&N (Reading RR) Wissahickon Creek

Cool drawing...but...
What is the PG&N, where is the Norristown line, and where is Wissahickon?
People within 50 miles of the location probably might know what you mean, but no one else does.
Clarification would be helpful!

The Norristown Line is now Septa's R6 and was originally the Norristown Branch of the Philadelphia, Germantown & Norristown Railroad between 1834 and 1870, and taken over by the Phila. & Reading RR in 1870. The bridge is the first of several successive wood ones, and a stone bridge is currently in place. It crosses over the Wissahickon Creek, near the Schuylkill River in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia.
