Utica Branch

Post by OvidPete »

I recently drove through Greene NY. Rt 206 crosses the old branch line. For years the track has been overgrown but the last two trips the track has been cleared of growth in both directions as far as the eye can see (at 25-30 mph). Are there plans to restore the line to service? Thanks in advance for any response.

Utica Branch was reopened in 2018. As it's an NYSW property now, info is here:http://www.railroad.net/viewtopic.php?f ... start=1170

Thank you very much. Always good to see a line restored to service rather than torn up

Restored, washed out again, and unused again.
