Siemens-Alstom merger questions

Is the new company going to use both names? Will they be offering separate product lines?

I've heard that they are merging their transportation divisions, but not the entire corporations.

So far Alstom is promising not to immediately cut jobs or factories in France, but who know how long that will remain true?

I haven't yet found any information about product lines, but it's probably too early for decisions on that. Everyone seems to admit that future competition from CRRC is a major factor.
