I've never actually been to the station on the platform, but always thought that Elizabeth needed some love considering the use it sees and the need for longer platforms. In the remodel, it will get a longer platform length to accommodate longer trains.

Took long enough. They've been talking about this product for a while. Considering they have needed to replace the structures built after the 1972 fire, it will be a needed upgrade.
...they are solid plastic, so don't settle for imitation.

Re: Elizabeth Station Getting Makeover
Is it correct to assume there are photos on-line of the original Elizabeth station? I remember looking for them once and not finding anything.
I didn't know anything about a fire in 1972. I starting riding through there in the late 1970s and the facilities seemed to look much as they do today.
