Is there anywhere to get Railpace in the Boston Area (Short of a subscription)? I've been looking for the past five years and have yet to find it for sale outside of central New Jersey.

Maybe there is a copy in your local library or at the Boston Public Library in their periodicals section...you could also check one of the larger news stands that carry magazines like the one like the one above Harvard station or South Station.

You can write to the guys at Railpace, they will tell you where you can get a copy... usually found at many hobby shops and larger newsstands...

Shepaug Model Railroad Co. here in Leominster sells Railpace. May be able to get it shiped to you if you can't come pick it up. Contact Mike at 978-537-2277. He will be happy to help you.
Hoping for a rebirth of the Screamer fleet.

Try Charles Ro Supply in Malden. They usually stock Railpace.

Can you order Railpace from their site itself, www.railpace.com?

That would be great!!

I like TRAINS magazine too, maybe I can order it online :-)

I'm pretty sure Railpace itself will sell you one.... or he could tell you where to find it. It's pretty common in the hobby shops of NJ, NY, and CT...

I didn't realize Railpace was so scarce up there... I see plenty of photos in there of Boston area railroading, I just assumed...

Stopped by Charles Ro today during lunch and they only had the June/July/August 2004 issues (although the July issue has a great write up on Metro-North MTA's).

Hopefull September will be there shortly....

Yeah, I did that article in July on the Metro-North ACMU's being retired this summer.
