Right across the street from Bellmore Fire Dept. Headquarters.
When the original Bellmore station burned in the 1960's, my father retrieved piles of documents for his railfan son, from the water logged attic. It contained original South Side Railroad tickets, and similar documents for the old days. I was able to separate quite a bit from the sodden mass and sold a great deal to "Sunrise Trail" members.
