I noticed them on Track 6 last week, I was wondering why they were there.

Several, perhaps 6, were in a westbound CSX freight train passing through Laurel, Maryland at almost 4:00 this afternoon.

actually 7 and so all ex SPV's have left the property, mn has removed them from timetable, never to be seen again.
If Conductors are in charge, why are they promoted to be Engineer???

Is the SPV at DRM the remains of ConnDOT 50,aka Lizzie?

The one at DRM that the kid who buys railcars bought is the office car. I don't know if that was #50 or not

no, SPV #50 was scrapped after lingering in Cedar hill for years, the car got wrecked on Danbury when it hit a 5 foot boulder between Branchville and Georgetown.

Former Metro-North SPV car 293 is at the Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum, Willimantic, CT. It is in roughly as-built configuration, likely the last one in that condition.
