DECISION UPHOLDS THE ARBITRATION AWARD OF APPROXIMATELY $13.4 MILLION IN LABOR PROTECTION BENEFITS AND INTEREST TO 32 CLAIMANTS (OR THEIR SURVIVORS OR OTHER PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES) WHO WERE EMPLOYED BY THE PENN CENTRAL TRANSPORTATION COMPANY BEFORE IT CEASED TO EXIST AS A RAILROAD IN 1976.

Interesting decision for PC wonder who is going to pay the 13.4 Million award???

According to the decision, Penn Central Transportation Company, in 1978 renamed the “Penn Central Corporation.” In 1994, the company changed its name to “American Premier Underwriters, Inc.” . The employees had worked for Cleveland Union Terminals.

Return to “Penn Central”
