Taken at the Illinois Railroad Museum. While not LIRR this is what the whistles on the Mu's sounded like..

I've been researching the Ashton Valve Co for a couple of years. They manufactured a variety of Railroad related items including safety valves, gauges, whistles, etc. If anyone has any information on the company please contact me.
