(1)Coach seat sales are a disaster: 42 seats!

(2)I will CANCEL THE TRIP if I have not reached my break-even
of 462 seats by JULY 5, as I am not Santa Claus nor Bill Gates.

(3)I refuse to go on the hook to AMTRAK for an $8,940 cancellation
penalty (10%), as I am not a masochist. I will be delighted to
save my financial skin, and lose only a $250 Ticketweb set-up fee.

(4)It is unpleasant to see cigarettes, beer and lottery tickets outdraw
seats on the first Erie RR fantrip to Binghamton in 38 years.

(5)EITHER SUPPORT THE TRIP BY JULY 5, OR TO HELL WITH IT.

Mr. Pevsner emailed me today that he was canceling the trip. He said that those who had bought tickets would get the money automatically refunded to their credit cards. (At the time he sent the email, this site was down, and he asked me to post this news.)
