I'm looking for any photos of the old main line, taken anywhere from Scranton - Nicholson...now heres the hard part - I need them to be at least pre-1870. Anything that includes the tracks in the photo will help even if they're way off in the background. Also any information on the early telegraph lines (1860s early 70s) would be greatly appreciated.

Two good sources of information: Tom Taber II's DL&W IN THE 20TH CENTURY Vol. 1 and Bill Young's TUNKHANNOCK: THE BRIDGE just reprinted.

Nice photos, but I didn't see anything from the 1870s in there, mostly EL stuff.
