Not Sure If This Means Anything at the Erie Plant...

Post by XC Tower » Thu May 23, 2019 10:54 am

Over the last couple of weeks, I have seen two batches of five Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern units which haven't been rebuilt waiting to be picked up by the NS at the East Erie interchange....
Heading to the Texas plant?.....I wonder if this could possibly be related to the current contract negotiations between GE and the union?.....(Speculation is unwise, I know)

There's word that Wabtec is closing the Boise Id shop and moving to GE ERIE plant for loco rebuilds/overhauls
