Trainview/On Time Info on Amtrak Trackage

So Trainview/SEPTA app/NTA are very unreliable when a train is on Amtrak trackage. I realize this is because SEPTA is not controlling the train's movement at that time. I have read that SEPTA plans to improve the way it tracks trains and conveys that to the public -- does anyone know if they will also be making to deal with the issue I just mentioned?
Somehow NJ Transit is able to track trains on Amtrak trackage, since DepartureVision is accurate for trains on the NEC Line. Does anyone know how NJT can do it but SEPTA cannot?

The Amtrak territory just shows up dark to the SEPTA dispatchers. That means the SEPTA dispatchers can't see it.

There are most likely threads around here on the same topic....let me just say that it will be a while before SEPTA has a better train-tracking system.

Yes, I read that article earlier. I forgot it mentioned the real-time tracking.

But still, the inability to track SEPTA trains on Amtrak territory isn't a recent development.
