As far as I know the AL-45DP is the only equipment NJT uses which is equipped with regenerative braking. Does NJT keep track of how much power is sent back to the catenary?

that would be ALP45dp and even the 46's have regenerative braking.

Good to to hear the 46s also have regenerative braking. I was going by the Wikipedia entry.
