What is the heritage of Metro North's MOW equipment (ballast hoppers, tankcars, flatcars, etc). Also, is the former Conrail boxcar in the middle of the wye at Mott Haven owned by Metro North, or has no one bothered to move it?\

tank cars are ex DODX , most ballast hoppers are new same with Difco dumpers.
Flatcars and older hoppers are mostly ex Pennsy. or TLTX
yes the old box car at MO is owned by MN.
